In Germany, it was Shosha’s spirit of adventure that led Leah to a chance encounter with one of the country’s leading theatre directors. Shosha’s friendly demeanor caught the attention of the director’s wife, thanks to their dogs looking remarkably alike. This encounter led to Leah’s first career in the arts as an assistant to the director at the prestigious Bavarian State Theater and later the Berliner Ensemble.
